Abstract of "Excerpts from Doctrine of Mean"
Lecturer Jeff Fong

The composition of the Doctrine of the Mean (Chung Yung) is attributed to Confucius grandson, Kung Chi, (designated as Tsze-Sze). The Doctrine of The Mean is found in the Record of Rites (Li-Chi), one
of the five canonical works in the Chinese classics. In Doctrine of the Mean, we can find a great deal of moral ideas that are really valuable. This work contains Confucius ideas that are interspersed by Tsze-Sze in his own words.
